Research firm Glassnode indicates that the next resistance level is around the active realized price of $85,200; on the futures front, the funding rate has shifted from negative to neutral, as significant short pressure has clearly eased, increasing the risk of a short squeeze; on the options front, market makers hold about $2 billion in "short gamma" exposure around $82,000, and a price increase will force them to continue hedging purchases, creating positive feedback. However, analysts warn that Bitcoin remains highly correlated with the tech sector of the U.S. stock market, and if the equity market shifts to risk-off, upward momentum may be suppressed.
